This will be the talented Italian’s first foray at La Sarthe and he is naturally excited about the deal. “I am very pleased to have confirmed this with GNM. I am racing with them all year in FIA, and I did have some offers for Le Mans from other teams but for me it was an easy decision to stay with GNM”.

The 29 year old continued “The Le Mans race is incredible. Its the biggest race of the year in all of motor racing and there will be over 300.000 spectators and for me it will be the biggest and most important race of my career”.

“I hope I can prove my ability as a front running GT driver there, against the World’s best. I don’t know the track but I think on the pre-test I can learn a lot”.

“I am sure the team are more than capable of providing us with a great car. They have made the race twice and finished twice, both with the Saleen in recent years. They really work 100 percent every race!”

Upon the news Team Principal Graham Nash commented “I am very pleased that we were able to construct a deal for Paolo to race with us at Le Mans. Of course, at the moment our entry is pending the approval of the ACO. Our goal now is to secure 2 good team mates for Paolo”.
