Storm LMP — Project is alive and moving forward

News on this project has been scarce with concentration so far on the GT programme - now this is virtually full it is time to concentrate on the LMP.

Fiona Pearce: We have made our application to enter Le Mans with Justin Keen as our confirmed driver - at this time we have no-one else signed to drive. We have several sponsors already in place but have further packages available to suit all budgets.

The LMES - this year there will be 5 rounds of this series - Spa, Monza, Silverstone, Nurburgring and Istanbul. Once again we have several sponsors in place, are in negotiation with drivers and are aiming to achieve top results this year. Any interested drivers or sponsors, please let Lister know!

LMP1 - rather than go halfway with a hybrid programme that will only last until 2006 we have decided to progress to the full LMP1 design which will have a long life and enable us to showcase our engineering skills with an uncompromised design. The design is nearing completion (using UGS NX3 design software) and, as we have said before, this will be a stunning car. We will be offering the chassis to customers who will then be able to choose their engine package to suit.

So, although news has been scarce, the LMP project is alive and moving forward.
