The EX264 is an evolution of the EX257 combining design elements from the new Lola B05/40 and the factory EX257 car run by RML and AD Group in the 2004 LMES and Le Mans 24 Hours. Power will be provided by an MG normally aspirated 3,400 cc V8 engine and the car will run on Michelin tyres.

The driver line-up for the LMES will include Tommy Erdos and Mike Newton who will be joined by an, as yet, unnamed third driver for the Le Mans 24 hours.

The car will run in the now familiar red, white and blue of the AD Group and sponsors will include Dedicated Micros, NetVu Inside, TransVu, FlightVu and RemGuard Visual Management.

Mike Newton said “I’m delighted that all our work over the past 15 months with EX257 has resulted in us being the team with access to this new MG, particularly in the year of MG’s 80th birthday! We’re all really excited about our prospects with this car.”

The car will have a shakedown run in the UK this week before heading out to Spain for initial testing. Plans include at least one 24 hour test prior to Le Mans.
