Team Jota announce 2005 Le Mans Endurance Series drivers — Kurosawa joins Stack and Hignett

Team Jota today announced Haruki Kurosawa as their third driver for the 2005 Le Mans Endurance Series. Haruki, 27, will join Team Jota veterans & owners John Stack and Sam Hignett in the teams Zytek 04S. “Haruki has proved to be an exceptionally quick, safe and consistent driver and will compliment the team well” says John Stack.

Haruki, who finished 2nd in the GT Class at Le Mans last year, competed in the British F3 championship in 1997 before returning to his native Japan to compete in Formula Nippon and Japanese F3. More recently Haruki has been a star of the Japanese GT Championship.


Sam Hignett:”Haruki first came to our attention after his performance at Le Mans last year. At the end of the season we ran him in a two-day test and his performance was exceptional”.

Team Jota have also entered into a partnership with Dunlop Tyres for the entire 2005 season. Working with Dunlop Team Jota will help further develop Dunlop’s outstanding endurance tyre and hope to give Dunlop their first outright win in the LMES.
