Back for Le Mans 2005 with Racing for Holland is the quick and very reliable allrounder John Bosch. Jan Lammers: “John is not only a good friend but also and ideal team mate, he is quick, comes with good advices and I have never seen him failing and damaging the car. If it starts raining, John is in his element and I can peacefully sleep during his nightly stints”.

John Bosch: “Since my debut at Le Mans, with Jan and Racing for Holland, in 2003, I consider the 24 hours of Le Mans as one of the worlds most exciting races. After driving a Ferrari 575M in the GTS class last year I wanted to return to Le Mans with a ’Le Mans prototype’. There is no need to say that the possibility to work together with Jan and the team is a great opportunity. I know the team well and although we will face though competition, I think a solid race can bring great result.”

Elton Julian is named as third driver of the Dutch team of driver and team owner Jan Lammers. Jan: “Elton is a valuable asset to the team, he is a proven winner and every crack knows that when you are capable of winning a British Formula 3 race you are a winner! Elton will need some time to get used to the car but I do not foresee any problems. You can drive or you cannot!”

Elton: “For me sportscars is the right choice, there are many talented drivers that did not make it in Forumla 1 but do have solid careers in sportscar racing. I will reunite with many of my old ’schoolmates’ from Formula 3 and Formula 3000!”

Last week Elton Julian brought a visit to the Netherlands for a seat fitting and to get acquainted with the car and the team.

Next Thursday and Friday Racing for Holland will participate in a tire test for Dunlop at the HTTT circuit in South France (Paul Ricard). John Bosch has other commitments and will come in action with the Dome-Judd S101 next month.

The team’s official presentation is scheduled for the last week of May.
