Second successful test day for Racing for Holland

On the second day of the test days organized by tire supplier Dunlop, the Dutch team tried several down force packages for their Dome-Judd S101 and gained some valuable information on the best position to place the penalty weight. This 50 kilogram weight comes with the 2005 regulations for LMP900 cars such as the Dome and the Audi R8.

There was a strong wind blowing today, significantly reducing our top speeds on the straight part of the track and also causing a bit of instability in some of the corners. Times have not improved further and were still close to our 01:41.492 set yesterday.

Team principle Jan Lammers: “I am very pleased with the performance of Julian and the valuable data we have gathered with this two day test”.

“If we compare apples to apples we can say that we have the same pace as the Audi R8 entered by Oreca. I am pleased to see that my quickest times were identical to Julian’s and he has proven to drive the Dome with a great pace and constant lap times”.

John Bosch will come in action with the Dome-Judd S101 next month.
