Belgian Vincent Vosse will be competing for the first time in a Care Racing supported Ferrari 550 Maranello when he re-joins Larbre Compétition for next month’s 24 Hours of Le Mans. He will be partnering Larbre regulars, Patrice Goueslard and Olivier Dupard in the nr.50 GT1 entry.

Larbre is, of course, the team with which Vosse has already won a 24 hour event the 2002 Spa race. The Monaco resident, 33, who will be entering his 4th Le Mans, has a wealth of GT endurance experience and last year drove a Ferrari 575 in selected rounds of the FIA GT Championship. His best result in 2004 was 2nd at the 24 Hours of Spa behind a Care Racing supported Ferrari 550.
The most experienced of Larbre Competition’s driver line up, former FFSA GT Champion Patrice Goueslard, partnered Vosse at Le Mans in a Viper in 2002. They will be hoping to repeat that winning partnership at the La Sarthe classic, and Goueslard will particularly be hoping that his 10th participation at Le Mans will be a memorable one. Dupard, who made his debut at Le Mans last year with the Larbre-entered Ferrari 550, will be hoping to improve on his 5th place finish (GTS category) and like his team mates will be aiming for nothing less than a podium finish.
Team Principal, Jack Leconte, is confident that his driver line-up has the right mix of experience needed for success. “I am very pleased to welcome Vincent back to Larbre Compétition. Le Mans this year will be tougher than ever, with a very strong GT1 category including four Ferrari 550s. I think we have a very good combination of experience with the car, the track, the drivers and most importantly the team knows what it takes to finish a 24 Hour race. I am sure you will see Larbre featuring strongly throughout.”
