GLPK Carsport Corvette on pole for Imola FIA GT race
After some trouble yesterday, he had a Porsche spin in front of him, and he went into the wall, Mike Hezemans claimed the eighth pole position of his FIA GT career today.

He placed the GLPK Carsport Corvette on the front of the grid for Sunday’s 500 km, three hour race. Mike set the time in the first qualification session. Team mate Bert Longin: “I think the track will be slower in the second session due to the heat” and he was right. Onlt three teams were able to set their quickest time in the second session.
Mike Hezemans: “It’s about time - I was beginning to slip down the statistics table.” Mike and his team-mates Anthony Kumpen and Bert Longin will start alongside Pedro Lamy in the nr 11 Larbre Competition Ferrari, with Philipp Peter taking third for the JMB Racing Maserati MC12.
