“It was very tough. Very high temperatures and a lot of incidents. We are very happy to have finished and I want to thank to the team for their tremendous work during all the Le Mans week. We had a few incidents like an accident in the evening or a clutch changing in the morning.
Philip Collin, David Shep and Horst Felbermayr drove the #83 Seikel Porsche on the very long La Sarthe circuit, with air temperatures rising as high as 35ªC.
“This was Horst Felbermayr’s first experience on this circuit. The Austrian impressed the team with his constancy and physical endurance.” added Peter Seikel.
