Friday morning’s practice for the American Le Mans Series’ Portland Grand Prix finished similarly to the Thursday testing: the two Dyson Lola’s at the top of the leader board. James Weaver’s fastest time of 1:03.180 was barely slower than yesterday’s times.
Weaver was followed by teammate Chris Dyson, and then the Audi’s of Werner and Biela. Gregor Fisken, driving this weekend for the Intersport Racing team, was next on the board, followed Miracle Motorsports’ Jeff Bucknum.
Part-season entrants Autocon Racing was 5th in P1 and 7th overall.
The Corvette C6R’s of O’Connell and Beretta lead GT1, followed by the Mika Salo in the Maserati.
Petersen/White Lighting’s 911 GT3 was first in the GT2 class for this sesson. Driver/owner Michael Petersen had a .065 second lap advantage over Alex Job Racing’s Romain Dumas.
