Road America Qualifying Summary

James Weaver and teammate Butch Leitzinger are on the pole for Sunday’s Generac 500 at Road America. Weaver posted a time of 1:53:042, 0.304 seconds better than the #1 Audi piloted by JJ Lehto.

Liz Halliday in the Intersport Lola posted the top LMP2 time of 1:56.259, putting the Lola fifth overall. Chris McMurry was second fastest in LMP2, almost two and a half seconds slower than Halliday.

Oliver Gavin and Olivier Beretta will start from pole in GT1. They edged out teammates Ron Fellows and Johnny O’Connell for the class pole.

Alex Job Racing took the GT2 pole by a margin of less than three one-thousandths of a second over the Petersen/White Lightning entry. Bill Auberlen and Robin Liddell brought the Panoz a third place start in GT2.
