Audi R8 eligible in the ALMS also in 2006

The International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) has decided to extend the eligibility of all current Le Mans Prototypes for another year. This means that the Audi R8 will be allowed to compete in the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) also in the 2006 season. At the Le Mans 24 Hours, however, only cars built according to the new Technical Regulations will be eligible.
