Victor Muller, CEO Spyker Cars: “The encouraging results in 2005 have inspired us to double our efforts for the 2006. Therefore we are extremely proud that the ACO has already accepted and confirmed our entry for participation for the 24-hours of Le Mans this early in the season. It is the first time that we will race with a two car team. This will be the fourth time for Spyker to participate in this most famous endurance race. Furthermore we are very pleased to also announce that we have signed a contract with Michelin Company. We will use their factory tires during the entire 2006 season.”
Muller continues: “For Sebring 2006 our drivers will be Peter Kox and Donny Crevels in car 85 and Jeroen Bleekemolen and Mike Hezemans in car 86. This is the strongest driver line-up Spyker has ever presented.”
