B-Racing RS Team prepares for LMS season opener in Istanbul

With regard to the season opening race of the LMS in Istanbul the team went to Paul Ricard right after the glamourous team presentation in St. Wolfgang to attend the official testing days of the LeMans Serie. Benjamin Leuenberger, Norbert Walchhofer and the FIA GT driver of the B-Racing RS Team, Michele Bartyan tried to find the right tyre solution together with Dunlop in order to get the Murciélago competitive. More successful the Murciélago absolved the technical tests.
The 1000-km race in Istanbul marks the first challenge for the team and drivers. Here remains to be seen if the short preparing time and the expensive test sessions makes an impact. Truck and Equipment are on board of a vessel via Istanbul while the team and drivers fly in to Istanbul on Thursday, 06.04.06 directly. On Friday the first test session will take part and on Saturday the starting positions for the race will be appraised in a 20 minutes qualifying session. After a 20 minutes warm-up on Sunday morning the race will be started on Sunday 11:30 h local time. Next to Benjamin Leuenberger and Norbert Walchhofer FIA GT driver Michele Bartyan will strengthen the team in the first important race of the season.
