The battle between Aston Martin Racing and Corvette Racing will continue in the American Le Mans Series with the announcement that two Aston Martin DBR9s will be on the grid at the Lone Star Grand Prix in Houston on May 12 and the American Le Mans at Mid-Ohio on May 21.
According to Aston Martin Racing, the cars will be driven by Tomas Enge, Stephane Sarrazin and Pedro Lamy with a fourth driver to be named at a later date.

At the 54th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, the two Aston Martin Racing entries placed second and third in GT1. The team’s new relationship with Pirelli got off to a flying start as the cars qualified 1-2 on the grid, paced by Enge’s record-setting lap of 1:55.286 (115.539 mph). Enge set a record with the fastest lap of the race, a 1:56.573 (114.263 mph) effort on Lap 284.
