Bergmeister Comments on Petersen Accident

Petersen Motorsports/ White Lightning Racing driver Jörg Bergmeister (Langenfeld, Germany) returned to the paddock and offered more insight into the incident that eliminated he and the No. 90 Krohn/ Petersen Motorsports/ White Lightning/ Michelin Porsche 911 GT3 RSR from the 74th Annual 24 Heures du Mans.{mosiamge}Jörg Bergmeister: “I was looking at the dash for fuel consumption and switching modes when I missed a braking point. It wasn’t that I pushed too hard – I just made a mistake.”

The 2004 Le Mans GT2 class winner and 2005 American Le Mans Series GT2 Driver champion suffered only minor bruising in the incident which took place at the first chicane of the Mulsanne Straight of the Circuit de la Sarthe. Bergmeister will be ready to rejoin the Petersen/ White Lightning team at the next round of the American Le Mans Series, the New England Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park on July, 1st.
