Francois Duval to race at Spa

© Prospeed Competition

Belgian rally driver François Duval will make his endurance debut in this year’s Proximus 24 Hours of Spa, racing a Porsche 996 Cup for Prospeed Competition, in the G3 class. “It’s all new to me - I’ve never driven a Porsche, and never even been to the 24 Hours,” he admitted before the test day. “But I really wanted to take part in this event, and now I’m impatient to get going.
Of course, for my first participation, it’s difficult to have a good idea of how things will go. But driving for a small team, with no ambitions of winning overall, I do not have too much pressure. Not too much is expected of me, which is a good thing, considering my lack of circuit experience.”
