Second Free Practice : Vitaphone Racing Team on top!

The Belgian drivers were on top at the beginning of the second free practice session. On the N°34 PSI Experience Corvette C6R, Jos Menten was leading, just ahead of Vincent Vosse (N°2 Vitaphone Racing Team Maserati) and Eric Van de Poele (N°1 Vitaphone Racing Team Maserati). Then with a lap in 2.17.820, Anthony Kumpen (N°4 GLPK Corvette C6R), took the lead, for a few moments only, because Vincent Vosse increased his time, with a lap in 2.17.030, the fastest of the day so far. At this moment, four Belgium drivers were in the top 4!

Then, Michael Bartels went on track, and set the fastest time of the free practice, with a lap in 2.16.943, faster then during the test day in early July. The Vitaphone Racing Team Maseratis were in the top two places, just ahead of GLPK and the PSI Experience Corvette C6R, and the N°23 Aston Martin BMS Aston Martin DBR9. The top 4 were in the same seconds.

The Ferrari 430 GT2 cars are still leading in GT2. N°58 AF Corse set the fastest time in 2.22.904, one second faster than in the first session, ahead of N°62 and 63 Scuderia Ecosse and N°55 JMB Racing. On the N°80 Spyker C8 Spider GT2R, Jeroen Bleekmolen set the 7th time, just ahead of the N°75 Ebimotors Porsche 996 GT3 RSR.

Both Porsche 997 GT2 were very close on G2, and the N°111 set the fastest time in 2.24.251 ahead of the N°197 (2.24.3440). Nr°194 Prospeed Competition Porsche 996 GT3 RS was third.

Three Dodge Vipers were leading the G3, the N°114 Pouchelon Racing ahead of the N°116 and the N°113.
