Belgian team Signa Racing claimed victory in the G3 class with the new Dodge Viper Competition Coupe, with a fine win for team owner Patrick Chaillet and his team-mates Loïc Deman, Laurent Nef and Christophe Geoffroy. "We won with a brand new car, we only had 1000 kilometres of testing, so it is incredible to be here today," Deman explained. "The team did an incredible job, and I had very good team mates. Thanks to all our sponsors. We had nearly no problems, just a little alert that cost us 7 minutes. During 24 Hours, the car was perfect."
They were followed home by the Prospeed Porsche Cup car, whose drivers included WRC star François Duval in his first-ever circuit endurance race experience. Third place went to Pouchelon Racing, who completed 26 hours of racing this weekend as they were also competing in the FIA GT3 European Championship, and whose line-up included paraplegic driver Gilles Duqueine, who is proving to be one of the real stars of the category, and former French Rally champion Benôit Rousselot.
