FIA GT Test Days Monza - Day 2 report

Aston Martin Racing BMS led the GT1 class during the two-day official test at Monza, with the nr 23 Aston Martin DBR9 setting a lap of 1:45.504 during the third session of the second day. The car was driven by new line-up Fabio Babini and Jamie Davies.
A total of 17 cars tested on the second day, which was led by a group of four Aston Martin DBR9 cars, the BMS car being followed by the Race Alliance Aston Martin, the Phoenix Motorsport car and the second BMS car, in the hands of new drivers Bonetti and Monfardini. They were followed by the two All-Inkl Lamborghini Murciélago cars, although the best time by a Lamborghini, set on the Thursday, would have placed it fourth overall.

In the GT2 class, the Michelotto factory Ferrari 430 GT2 was fastest, with a time of 1:49.739, just hundredths of a second ahead of the Edil Cris Racing Ferrari, and the AF Corse Ferrari.
