FIA GT3/GT4/ADAC GT Masters Monza test - Day 2

During the second day of testing in Monza, the process of balancing the performance of the cars continued, with Christophe Bouchut driving the various cars to set a representative time. However, the teams were testing as well, and Tech9 Motorsports, reigning Champions in the FIA GT3 European Championship, set the best time with a lap of 1:55.3 in the third and final session of the day. Although this was slower than the laps set by the Damax Ascari KZ1R, Callaway Corvette Z06 and Kessel Racing Ferrari 430 GT3, these cars were all in the hands of triple FIA GT Champion Christophe Bouchut when their times were set…
Faster by five tenths over the Trackspeed Porsche, which had led the first day of testing, Tech9 Motorsport have made a good start in their task of retaining their title in 2007.

The British team, which has won a title for the past four years, is also racing in the FIA GT Championship this year, with Sean Edwards and Leo Machitski, GT3 Champions from the European and British series respectively.

The test day also included a photo shoot with all the GT3 cars present at Monza, including two newcomers : the Jaguar XKR and the Ford Mustang.
