Swiss Spirit project temporarily suspended

© Planetlemans - Marcel ten Caat

Defined as "a diffcult choice" that should be benefitial for the continuation of their LMP1 racing programme, the temporary suspension of the Swiss Spirit program was confirmed today at the Nürburgring. The press release was brief and had no details whatsoever, just that they are skipping the German round of the LMS. We hope the team will be back at Spa for the next round of the Le Mans Series.
A real shame for a highly competitive team that achieved a podium already in its Valencia 1000 km debut. The "petrol car benchmark" as defined by Audi is therefore in an impasse until at least mid-August.
