Going into the second hour of the race we have already seen problems for both Lamborghini Murcièlagos. Not the weekend they expected it to be. Carsport Holland leads the race, ahead of Luc Alphand Aventures and Jetalliance Racing. An exciting first hour…let’s hope for some more.
17:00- Fässler and Bertolini have also made gone into the pit lane for their stops. Except for the nr 33 Jetalliance Racing and nr 1 Vitaphone Racing Team cars all the GT1 cars in the top 10 have made a stop.
17:05- After the pit stops it is Karl Wendlinger who is leading the race. Everything is happening at the track to the GT3 Porsches. The 178 has spun at the bus stop, another one lost its head light. The All-Inkl.com Lamborghini is back, but the front bonnet of the car has come loose.
17:10- Correction: Märcel Fassler is already back in front, 17 seconds ahead of Wendlinger.
17:17- We are currently having live timing only and no live images from around the circuit, just the start/finish line. To see the live timing, check this page
17:30- Apparently there was a Lamborghini Gallardo going off at Eau Rouge. This car has returned to the track. Here in the media centre we only get live timing and music. So hard to cover this race live for you…unfortunately.
17:33- Menten and the Lamborghini Murcièlago have gone out again…
17:50- Still no live images..with live tv broadcasts throughout Europe resuming at 18:00 we hope to be able to give you better coverage than we have done until now. Our apologies for this coverage.
The standings so far:
GT1
GT2
