Silverstone 1000km – Second practice report

No changes at the front in the second Le Mans Series free practice session at Silverstone. The Peugeots were a bit slower than this morning, but the gap to the third placed Pescarolo Sport number 16 was 2.5 seconds. In LMP2 the RML Lola set the fastest lap ahead of the Bruichladdich Radical and Team LNT’s Zytek.
Team Modena was quickest again in LM GT1 ahead of the two Alphand Corvettes and in LM GT2 the Felbermayr-Proton Porsche 997 of Lieb/Pompidou beat the IMSA Performance Porsche 997. The Speedy Spyker clocked the third fastest time of this session.
