The Audisio&Benvenuto Courage C65 has secured the pole position for tomorrow’s 6 Hours of Vallelunga Gold Cup. The Courage, driven by Giuseppe Chiminelli, Antonio Vallebona and Mirko Savoldi set the fastest lap during the 60-minute long qualifying session on the 4.085 kilometres long track.

Second quickest was the Norma BMW of Franco Ghiotto, Marco Didaio and Davide Uboldi. The CN4 class prototype beat the first and only GT1 car in the field, the EDM Motorsport Aston Martin DBR9 of Peter Hardman and Nick Leventis in the fight for a front row position.
Further down the field the Gravity Racing Mosler MT900 of Vosse/Kelders/Greich set the tenth fastest lap. This means the GT3 car is ahead of all the GT2 cars. Fastest in the GT2 class was the Autorlando Sport Porsche 996 GT3 RSR of Caffi, Zardo and Fratti.

The qualifying session today was red flagged no less than three times. Tomorrow’s race will start at 10:00, with the chequered flag shown to the drivers at 16:00.
