Speedy Racing – Team Sebah is proud to annouce his race programme for the next three years starting this year. The team will run a Lola B08/80 Coupé LM P2 in the Le Mans Series and Le Mans 24 Hours*. Speedy Racing – Team Sebah will be the first team ever to enter a closed prototype in the LMP2 category in a Le Mans – ACO sanctionned event.
The team’s Lola B08/80 Coupé will be Judd powered. The new DB engine is the latest in a highly successful line of Sportscar engines produced by the company and it is hoped that it will continue the high level of success achieved over the past few years.
The team’s B08/80 Coupé is currently under construction at the Lola factory and is expected to make it’s track debut at the official Le Mans Series Test Days at Paul Ricard HTTT March 2nd and 3rd. Speedy Racing – Team Sebah is also planning 2-3 days of private testings before Le Mans Series first round at Barcelona. The wind tunnel model was on display at the Autosport Show in Birmingham last week on the LEMO’s stand, a market leader in connectors that will be the main partner of the team along with other sponsors. Drivers choices and tyres supplier will be announced later.

So we can cross out the Speedy Spyker?
No, Speedy Racing Team bought the Lola and contracted Sebah to run it for them.
Next to that they still have the Spyker and will continue that programme in GT2 as the official Swiss Spyker dealer team.
i think the speedy outfit running this car is a french outfit and is different to the speedy garage spyker, speedy sponsored various cars in their time, in 2000 they sponsored the SMG courage C60 judd and in 2005 i think they sponsored the pescarolo hybrid judd’s as well but obviously not as the main sponsor.
great news though, so far its the only LMP2 coupe lola announced to be racing.
It’s a cooperation between Speedy Garage (Speedy Racing) and Sebah. Sebah will have to build the car with Lola because when you buy a Lola you only buy the tub.
It’s not race ready like a RS Spyder …
@STE, STF is right, both teams share the same owner, Alexandre Pesci of Speedy Garage. Besides Speedy, Alex also runs LEMO, a company specialised in connectors. It is not the same Speedy as you’ve seen a few years back…
haha Speedy Argo.
Looks good, let’s hope to see more P2 coupes. As has been said in various places, with this many entries we won’t need GT soon :/
