Quifel ASM says no to Mazda

Portuguese website Sportmotores reports that Quifel ASM has not reached an agreement with Mazda and will therefore stay with AER for the 2008 season.

The Portuguese team felt the support offered was not enough for an engine “in development” and will bet on their well known power plant again this year. The team will be testing in Estoril on February 10th and 11th with Miguel Amaral and Olivier Pla.

Thanks to Hugo Ribeiro for the information.

  2. Pity would have loved to see the Mazda brand represented in top class racing in Europe.
