24 Hours of Le Mans

The Dome S102 is nearing completion!

Dome will officially launch its new LMP coupe, the Dome S102, tomorrow in a press announcement, but today the first images of the car were already released by the Japanese manufacturer. The pictures show the car in its current state, far from ready for its debut in the Le Mans 24 Hours next June.

At the moment the pictures were taken the Dome S102 was still fully white with some parts missing. The most important part that is missing so far in the car is the new Xtrac gearbox. Dome expects this part to arrive this moment so that the S102 will have its shakedown later this month on a Japanese circuit.

Here are the pictures that were released by Dome today:

  1. Did Oku Akiyoshi design it?

It is a “minor” thing, but Dome has the best-looking side mirrors by a long shot.

    High-mounted headlights?

    Cooling for the radiators?

    Drivers?
