Scuderia Ecosse ready for Monza

The Scuderia Ecosse GT Team heads off to Monza for the second round of the FIA GT championship this weekend, with a spring in their step following a highly successful two-day test last week at the demanding Vallelunga circuit. Valuable information was gathered from the test session which will now be deployed by the team at the high-speed Milan circuit.

Fabio Babini said “The test last week proved to be an important step forward with our traction-control system and the Pirelli tyres we used are now fully ready for Monza.”

Jamie Davies “It was a highly productive two days testing. We worked on traction control issues along with a tyre test with Pirelli. The entire running gave us some valuable feedback and some important progress was made and I am looking forward to Monza.”

Scuderia Ecosse team principal Stewart Roden said, ” It has been a very productive two days and we have worked hard on a selection of new Pirelli tyre compounds and constructions. With the new season now underway it is clear that TV coverage of the Championship has taken a massive leap forward for 2008.
