Win a meeting with the Spyker Squadron team! We’re giving five Planetlemans readers the chance to meet the men (and women) behind the Spyker Squadron team at Le Mans on Friday morning June 13th at 10:30!

The five winners, and one guest per winner, will be invited to enjoy a drink and a croissant (or whatever is on the menu) before getting a pre-race Le Mans ‘briefing’ by some of the Spyker Squadron team members and all drivers.

Last year it was Mike Hezemans who shared his knowledge of the Le Mans circuit with people from Club Arnage and Drinking for Holland, this year it can be you sitting there too and ask your questions!

It should be an hour at Le Mans you will never forget and it is the opportunity to talk to Ralf Kelleners, Peter Dumbreck, Alexei Vasiliev, Benjamin Leuenberger, Andrea Chiesa and Iradj Alexander!

Is it hard to win this prize? We don’t think so! All you need to do is answer the following three questions and send us an e-mail on competition@planetlemans.com.

So here are the questions:

1) How many times did Spyker participate at Le Mans before 2008?
2) When and where did Spyker Squadron get its first podium finish?
3) How many pancakes does the team of 30 eat for lunch at Le Mans? (Hint: check out the Club Arnage guide)

Don’t forget to add your mobile telephone number and full name as we know that some of you will leave to Le Mans early and sending a mail to confirm you as a winner might be too late.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. All entries must be received by 11.59pm 8th June 2008.
2. There will be five winners. Winners will be notified within two (2) days of the closing date. Each winner will be invited to the Spyker Squadron hospitality tent at Le Mans. All other costs and expenses including transport to and from Le Mans and tickets for the race week will be the responsibility of the winners.
3. The winners will be chosen random from all correct entries received before the closing date. Winners will be notified within 2 days after the closing date. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, Planetlemans reserves the right to re-draw another winner from the correct entries.
4. Winners may be required to submit valid identification.
5. The Editor’s decision is final and binding on the entrants.

Here are the answers:

1) Spyker took part in five editions of the Le Mans 24 Hours so far. In 2002 and 2003 they ran the Spyker C8 Double 12R, in 2004 they did not take part and in the last three years the team ran one or two Spyker C8 Spyder GT2Rs.

2) Spyker scored its first podium finish at the Le Mans Endurance Series 1000km of Nürburgring in September 2005.

3) The team of 30 eat 110 pancakes for lunch at Le Mans.
