I just wish that we coulds see the race here in South Africa
They seem to televise the 24 hour race when it pleases them.
Is there is reason that DSTV Multichoice didnt get the rights this year or was it a financial issue?

They could’ve bought it from Oreca. Oreca would probably give them a better deal than anyone else (established working relationship).

Pieter, Racing Box only leased the Saleen from Oreca they didn’t own it, so when Oreca sold the 4 Saleen’s they could no longer continue to lease it.

so Racing Box traded their Saleen for a 2004 frame with an outdated Judd engine….what were they thinking?

That’s what can happen in this type of racing. Racing Box’s Lucchini has the older Judd ‘XV’ V-8 and not the latest ‘DB’ engine.

It wouldn’t be at all suprised if it was the 2nd Epsilon. I’d like it to be the 2nd Creation though…….
