If any team would come perhaps Dyson racing. But none of the factory teams are coming unless they’re running in P1. That won’t be to at least 2009 maybe for Acura.

Dyson would give Van Merksteijn and Essex a good run. Especially having 2 cars and probably better knowledge of the chassis. Running against factory teams has them battle tested as well.

But then again Dyson has its hands full with all the factory squads they already face.

I meant at the LM24. Perhaps some teams from the States will come over to Le Mans for the race.

Too bad Barazi Epsilon is simply outpaced by the Porsches. It was so nice to see a private team running a privately built chassis and engine doing so well.

The Zytek 07S is no longer the engine and chassis formula to win a P2 race. But still a good package. First Ferrari steals their A1 Grand Prix deal as engine supplier and now Porsche will boot them out as the car to conquer P2.

They should start improving their P1 car to expand their reach. Arena Motorsports ran a P1 Zytek last year. It was fast but very unreliable. Considering it was only a 4.0 litre naturally aspirated power plant it must have been very stressed.

why would LMP2 be tougher in 2009 in LMS? Embassy should have more experience, but porsche should step up to LMP1.

That is a beautiful photo of the car. Fantastic, signs of battle in the most important sporting event on Earth, just brilliant. Oh, and Kudos to the boys, hopefully next year LMP2 is a little more competitive.

Adrian, the car should be at Silverstone (also with the Essex and Horag Spyders) for the last LMS round of this season in mid September.

Sincere congratulations from a British Porsche enthusiast.

I have some idea how much effort is involved in such an enterprise as Le Mans. We salute this achievement which keeps the Porsche marque where it should be.

Will the car be available to se in the UK ?
