Le Mans Classic - Grid 4

The period covered by grid 4 (1962-65) was all Ferrari at Le Mans, but towards the end it was clear that Ford would be a serious challenge for the Maranello machines. The main entries were still GTs but some of the factories were already making the transition to prototypes, the Porsche 904 or the breathtaking ISO Bizzarrini being very good examples of this.
At Le Mans Classic the Ford GT40s were in force, however a Ferrari 250LM and a barrery of 275s made the prancing horse also one to notice at this grid. Another main presence was the AC Cobra, a classic in its own right and a fierce rival of Ferrari during this period as well. We did not miss the small rarities as well so please enjoy as you scroll through our pictures.
