Four hours completed now. Phoenix #6 is still in the lead in GT1, followed by the two Vitaphone MC12’s, Pierguidi in front of sarrazin. GT2 is led by Malucelli in the BMS Ferrari, followed by Collard and Bruni.

20:11- Simonsen and Bruni are in the pit.

20:12- Dirk Müller is also in the pit…

20:16- Pierguidi and Sarrazin are second and third, the gap between the two at the finish line is just four tenths of a second.

20:17- The Emeraude Racing Porsche GT3 is slowly going around the track and has now stopped at turn 5.

20:18- Pierguidi is in the pit lane, promoting Sarrazin to second place. Jetalliance has just completed a stop.

20:21- Gollin comes in to hand over the leading Corvette to Mike Hezemans. With the rain getting heavier this could be the ideal conditions for Hezemans.

20:22- Sarrazin is also in the box.

20:25- And as Alzen comes in the Corvette number 6 is back at the front of the field.

20:26- Alex Margaritis, just coming out of the pit box, tried to keep ahead of the Maserati behind himgoing up through Eau Rouge. At the top the German-Greek driver loses control of his car and after making a perfect 360 degrees spin he gets back on racing speed. Lucky escape there.

20:29- The Vertigo is in the pit box. Mechanics are checking underneath the car for any problems.

20:30- Margaritis is back on the tail of Negrao and is all over the Brazilian. So far he has not been able to get ahead.

20:31- The #1 Vitaphone Racing Maserati is back in for tyres.

20:32- Margaritis made his move and passed the Maserati. Phoenix is now in first and second place.

20:35- Hezemans back in the pit as well for a change of tyres.

20:36- This extra pit stop has taken away the lead of the number 6 Corvette. It was a minute, but now the car is back in third place, 7.767 behind the leading sister car.

20:41- The GT2 cars are getting quicker. Xavier Pompidou (59 Trackspeed) and Wolf Henzler (60 ProSpeed) have just improved their fastest lap times.

20:44- Hezemans is pushing. He did a 2:18.007 in his last lap, Negrao who is just in front of him did a 2:19.827. The gap is now 1.960 seconds.

20:47- Just under four tenths of a second now between Hezemans and Negrao. Hezemans is on the tail of the Maserati coming to Rivage.

20:48- Mullen was in the way of Hezemans twice, the gap has gone up to 1.6 seconds.

20:54- Margaritis is now ten seconds ahead of the battling Corvette and Maserati. Paolo Ruberti is leading in GT2 for BMS Scuderia Italia, despite having done 1 stop more than the number 61 Prospeed Porsche.

20:56- Hezemans is now back to seven tenths of a second behind Negrao.

20:58- Another four tenths of a second gone, Hezemans is now three tenths of a second behind Negrao. When will he make the pass?

20:59- Braking for Les Combes the two cars are side by side. Hezemans brakes just a bit later and moves ahead of the Brazilian. Once again a Phoenix 1-2.

21:00- Tomas Enge has set the fastest lap time for the Lamborghini.

21:02- IMSA has lost a place, they’re now in sixth place. Matias Russo in the 51 Af Corse Ferrari has passed him

21:08- After being passed Negrao has not lost the view of the back of Hezemans. The gap is still only 2 seconds.

21:09- A drive-thru for the McDonald’s Racing Porsche. Was someone hungry?

21:10- AF Corse has been given a warning for shortcutting the Raidillon.

21:17- It is getting darker here at Spa. Marshalls will use night signalling from now on.

21:24- And the rain is back at Spa. Westbrook has meanwhile gone to the lead in GT2 after Ruberti went into the pitlane for what is the team’s sixth stop already. IMSA is back in third.

21:30- Vitaphone #2, Carsport #5 and Jetalliance have been in for a pit stop. As a result Hezemans is back in the lead.

21:36- Margaritis has spun at the Raidillon again!

21:38- Ruberti moves back into the lead in GT2. As a result of the spin Margaritis has dropped to fifth place.

21:39- The McDonald’s Racing racing car went out at La Source but has rejoined.

21:40- Margaritis off the track at turn 16, the Sport Garage Ferrari #175 has gone into the tyre barrier at Eau Rouge. Yellow flags in sectors 1 and 3.

21:41- Hezemans comes in for his pit stop.

21:42- Safety car!

21:44-(SC) Car on fire at turn 16! As that is where the Phoenix Corvette is stalled it doesn’t look too good for them.

21:46-(SC) The medical car is at the scene…more updates when available.

21:49-(SC) Fire truck on the circuit at the moment.

21:50-(SC) At the moment the Vitaphone cars are first and second, Hezemans is in third.
