Kruse-Schiller Silverstone report

The preparation phase for the last round of the Le Mans Series started with a test at the German Hockenheimring during which the team gathered a lot of valuable information, but unfortunately the test ended with an engine failure. There was not enough time left to change the engine at the teams workshop in Siegburg, so the Kruse Schiller Motorsport team traveled earlier than planned to Silverstone to change the engine at the British racetrack on Wednesday. The following shake-down at Stowe on Thursday proofed that all systems were OK and that everything was in order for the practice sessions to come.

Ginetta-Zytek LMP1 for Team LNT at Petit Le Mans

Team LNT today are pleased to announce their entry to the 2008 Petit Le Mans race at Road Atlanta with a Ginetta-Zytek LMP1 car. Team LNT’s previous LMP entry was a ‘one off’ LMP2 Zytek at Silverstone exactly 12 months ago. That effort resulted in pole position, fastest lap and second place having dominated the race early on with Danny Watts and Tom Kimber Smith at the wheel. Prior to that, Team LNT was an ever-present part of the LMS and Le Mans 24 Hours with TVR in 2004 and 2005 and the Panoz GT2 team during 2006 & 2007.
