Racing is racing. However, any obvious contact, whether poor driving or fully intentional should be dealt with in NASCAR fashion. Heavy fines and point deduction for teams and drivers.
This will cut down drastically on those types of incidents.
Especially with the current economy!

Hi,
I think all of us who are involved in the LMS can tell their story about this kind of problem. If its about GT to LMP or LMP1 to GT1/2 LMP2 to GT1/2 or also LMP1 to LMP2 it s everywhere. And it is for sure difficult to decide about penaltys (so long it is not obvious like with Verstappen). If you saw Mcnish at PLM than everybody said he is a hero due what he did. But it is always a small line you are walking about win or lose. I would suggest if one driver in particular is more often reported by other teams than he should be put under investigation. In their respect we also have so many gentleman drivers in LMP and GT cars that I can understand that the pro drivers - whatever car they drive - get pissed of about the gentleman who are not able to use the mirrow or break at the safty car break point... I see no solution to avoid that problem. The racedirectors must watch more carfully.. And we must find a way to live together... Like in football we can think about to create a trophy for the most fair driver(s)..I think that is all.

I don't think it's serious, accidents happen. If it was intentional hitting, then yeah, penalties are needed, but if it is just a racing accident, which there is many with a 30+ car grid, just leave it. These things happen
