Rick - The wing is to reduce downforce. I will decrease confidence in the fast corners where optimized aero is more important.

That isn't even important, its been done, why complain?

I find it interesting that the FB-Ferrari was running Hankook tires and '08 spec inlet restrictor vs the '09 spec cars of Virgo and Team Modena.

While Porsche showed up with a '09 997.

I don't know if PL saw the tactics in this, but I do.

If its assumed that French tires are better than Korean tires and if you have say 10% more power in all parts of the rev range, then its easy to see where Ferrari needs to make changes.

Grip might not be the problem but output might, which means more 24/7 nights on the dyno to find the say 5% more power if the tires are say worth another 5% in lap time.

Seeing as Risi haven't taken delivery of their '09 spec car yet (Melo and Kaffer were on hand to shake it down a few weeks ago in Italy), you have 9 days before the race and while Risi might have the actual car, the motor might be ready just yet. Ferrari in these biggest market will be reduced to two cars at Sebring.

I would not discount the Russo/Bruni pedaled car as it will be an either '09 spec or an updated '08 spec car and Russo proved himself to be more than up the challenge during his season in FIA GT last year. He won the Argentina race in GT2 going away....

The smaller and uglier LMP wings do not help reduce costs even though the ACO wants to reduce costs.
