Two well-known GT drivers shone in this morning’s qualifying for the Pro-Am race of the Imola GT Open.
The Porsches confirmed the good form shown in free practice, with Jean-Philippe Belloc taking the pole in IMSA Performance car (1.45.745), ahead of Autorlando’s Gianluca Roda, only 29 thousendths behind. The other 997 Autorlando of Couceiro is fourth, sharing second row with the best Ferrari F430, the Trottet one driven by Joël Camathias.
Austria’s Philipp Peter (Kessel Ferrari) was fastest in GTS ahead of the Villois Aston of Lancieri and the Roger Ferrari of Julià.
Both Montermini and Bonetti, on the Edil Cris Ferraris) spun, with little damage, while Stefano Livio (Kessel Ferrari) was black-flagged and has no time, as he received external assistance to rejoin the track after spinning in lap 1.
