Times were very close in the first session of the weekend. The Bartels/Bertolini driven Vitaphone Racing Team Maserati MC12 was fastest in 1:13.201, only 5 milliseconds ahead of the Luc Alphand Aventures Corvette C6.R of Maassen/Moreau.
