As good as the European cars may be, I have to think this is going to be an all-ALMS show, with Flying Lizard and Risi Competizione continuing their rivalry. The Team Seattle Ferrari is just fodder for the press until Dempsey plants it in the gravel trap on one of the S-curves.

Oh, one quick point on Endurance Asia Team's livery... an award has to go to Perrier for his unique eye on artistry or whoever else was responsible! Countless amounts of Leffe + 24 hours staring at this car will no doubt send hundreds of watching fans into rehab once back over the Channel!

Re : Mathew's predictions. Spot on. I actually think No.77 will go all out and finish winners. Although I'd throw in No.76 and AF Corse No.78 for a real chance to reach that podium. Bring it on. Can't wait, really looking forward to this GT2 battle above the lot !

I say Krohn livery is ugly. Green and Blue??...wtf, that's an bad combo.

As for the American Actor, wish him luck. How serious is he about racing?? Is he the next Steve McQueen?...or not on the level yet?

The Team Seattle car is actually one of the AF Corse chassis they use in the FIA GT. So it's a well prepared one.

With Patrick Dempsey partening with his driving school instructors, this is one chassis that will not be pushed to it's limits performance wise.

The Krohn livery doesn't look good on the Daytona prototypes, but on an F430 it really shines. Best looking cars. At least maybe until we see the JMW livery.

I agree the JMW Dunlop car is better than an absolute outsider. Maybe ''dark horse'' is a better phrase, but even then I reckon they are a good chance for a win.

I hope the Yokohama tyres fare well, Simonsen has worked hard at Ferraris and deserves a big result.

My pick for the podium is Felbermayr, AF Corse and Risi #82. It's a tough one to pick though.

There's a reason there are 10 Ferraris vs. only 5 Porsches. The F430 is the better car and now has the reliability to match the 997 RSR. Sure the IPM and Lizards 997's wiping each other out accounted for something, but in the end had that not happened I'm confident a Ferrari would've won the class in '08 anyway.

Being an ALMS supporter it would be nice to see the Risi boys (the #82, not the Krohn entry mind you) win GT2 if a Ferrari takes it down.
