We are not so much wrapped up in Drag Racing and NASCAR to not go to a FIA GT race since its SO RARE it comes to North America.

I’m not sure what track they’ll run and what time of year.!

It might be “3 Rivers” as the Nationwide/Grand Am race is in Aug. ALMS@Mopsort is in late Aug as well, so that would leave pairing with IRL somewhere NASCAR Canadian Tour.

Since its World, it will have a “World” feed, which means since coverage was such a mess this season, I should be able to see all the races next year without issue.

Jake seems to be right, I spent 4 weeks in North America in 2007. (i went to 2 ChampCar events) But watching the racing channel, so many Nascar shows, and side shows.

That seems to be all they show. I would gone crazy within a few months. Then got home to my MotorsTV in France

A round in North America…That could entice some ALMS and GRand Am teams to do a one off race. And of course US based fans like me can get to see it live (if it happens).

Guys, this championship will be by far cheaper for the teams in comparison with the “old one”. Every track has to pay to host a round. They’ll use this money to pay travel costs. It’s likewise WTCC and look where they are going. Because promotors have to pay, i think San Luis fell through. You must also know that SRO South America is situated in Brazil, not Argentina. I suggest you all to read ( reports of ) the press conferences during the past two years. It’s a great business plan and the most interesting “new organisation” by far for a long time.
On the other hand, this is the first scheme. According to SRO, there wil be 10 (!!) events and they hope to make it 12 in december. So, let’s be patient.
