International GT Open season taking shape

With all the announcements coming from the Le Mans Series, the American Le Mans Series and the various SRO championships one seems to forget that Europe has another major GT2/GT3 series, the International GT Open. And that series had quite some interesting updates as well.[...]

Dutch GT4 Championship confirms 2010 dates

After a successful first season the Dutch GT4 Championship is set to kick off its second season on April 3. Seven races will form the 2010 season. Six events are to be held on the circuits in Assen and Zandvoort, while the Dutch GT4 Championship will also support the FIA GT1 World Championship at the Nürburgring.[...]

ARGO Racing field two Gallardos in FIA GT3

Lamborghini will also be represented in the fifth year of the FIA GT3 European Championship. ARGO Racing, based directly on the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit, fields two Reiter Engineering developed Gallardo LP560 GT3. Equipe Verschuur to import Camaro GT4 in Europe

Equipe Verschuur, the successful Dutch motorsport company led by Frans Verschuur in the city of Nijmegen, has been appointed as the official European importer for the spectacular Chevrolet Camaro to the international GT4 regulations. Tomas Enge joins Young Driver AMR in FIA GT1

New challenge for Tomas Enge. After the win in Le Mans Series 2009, he will compete in inaugural season of FIA GT1 World Championship this year. Czech driver will be partnered with Briton Darren Turner, with whom he will share Aston Martin DBR9 in colours of factory supported Young Driver AMR team. OAK Racing confirms plans…and Judd engines

After a 2009 season which brought six podiums in eight races, OAK Racing Team Mazda France will continue to concentrate on the LMP2 category in 2010. The team will run two Pescarolo chassis in the five-round Le Mans Series and hopes to participate with its two prototypes at the Le Mans 24 Hours. After winning the Asian Le Mans Series in Japan, the #24 Pescarolo has already earned a guaranteed invite to the race, while an application for the second LMP2 car has been lodged with the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO).[...]

Wendlinger & Nilsson join Swiss Racing Team
