I didn’t know Noel del bello was that well funded. A brand new Lola coupe and Judd engine…fast package when well setup by the right people.

Oak racing has a healthy budget so they don’t understand why they have to put up with a non responsive engine. Mazda probably decided they still need a team of that caliber and decided to keep their agreement with them. They own the pescarolo chassis building business now. I predict P1 program with the pesca chassis and judd engines branded as Mazda in 2011.

Hopefully Dyson gets a Judd engine as well to really put on a good show in the ALMS with Highcroft.

Overall a nice grid.

Goodbye Pesca. Thanks for the memories. He has sold his interests to Oak racing and Sora racing.

Should still have 2 LeMans invites. 2nd in the LMS and won the Japan tournament.

RML with Honda powerplant??? The Zytek engine will no longer be the class of the field. The Lola coupe seems to be more stable so a Lola coupe with the Acura engine might be a better combo than the Strakka package.

Aside from Sebring in 2007 (a fluke) the Acura chassis has not proven stable to win any long distances races. I think all their crashes are due to driver fatigue in long distance races, which goes back to chassis stability.

Also missing Pescarolo. Ai, no Luc Alphand / Corvette.
I also thought Jaguar announced that the wanted to do LMS? Not sure though.

With Felbermayr’s championship win, why doesn’t Porsche field more RSR’s? Odd’s are stacked against them with AF Corse and the rest of the 430 armada.

Hmmm, still not sure whether this is a promising entry list or not. OK, GT2 will be full, but there are plenty of cars with an all TBA driver squad. I guess we’ll see at the first round in Paul Ricard who will really turn up…
