55 cars for Classic Endurance Racing at HTTT

The 2010 Classic Endurance Racing season will be a little bit different than it was in recent years. Unlike the previous season the historic sportscars will not race at all the Le Mans Series events but only at Paul Ricard HTTT, Spa-Francorchamps and Silverstone. Two other rounds will be held at Monza in June and again at Paul Ricard in October. Fifty-five cars are on the provisional entry list for the opening round.

At Paul Ricard the Classic Endurance Racing teams will have a 30 minutes long free practice session on Friday, starting at 11:50. This session is followed by the first qualifying session between 15:20 and 15:50. Saturday afternoon at 12:05 the teams will be back out again for another 30 minutes long qualifying session before preparing for the race that will start three hours later. The one-hour long race will start at 15:35.

Fifteen Proto 1s, seventeen Proto 2s, fifteen GT1s and eight GT2s are currently on the provisional entry list for the opening round at the Circuit Paul Ricard HTTT, some 40 km North East from Marseille.
