2009 LMP2 Champion Quifel-ASM topped the final session of the two-day Le Mans Series test at Paul Ricard HTTT. The Portuguese team recorded a time of 1.46.584, over six tenths quicker than its closest challenger.

Frenchman Olivier Pla set the quickest time in the dying moments of the session, having been in the top three for the majority of the test. Quifel-ASM proved to be the benchmark in LMP2 throughout the 2009 season and has now carried that form into 2010.

Newcomers Beechdean Mansell proved to be competitive in LMP1, placing in the top five for the majority of the test. The 09S proved to be extremely quick in the hands of 1992 Formula 1 World Champion Nigel Mansell and his sons Greg and Leo.

Team Bruichladdich, another new Zytek Motorsport customer, used the test to bed in its new drivers Karim Ojjeh, Tim Greaves and Thor-Chrsitian Ebbesvik. It also took the opportunity to gain valuable operational experience ahead of the first race of the Le Mans Series at Paul Ricard next month.
