Atlas eFX: Turbulent race-weekend at the Hungaroring

A turbulent race weekend is behind the Atlas eFX-Team FS, who had high expectations to the top. After the last race in Portimao (P), the engine
had to be replaced. An unpredictable oil leak made a participation in the training sessions impossible. The mechanics repaired the damage
overnight to be able to start the qualifying session. In the second corner of the just started Qualifying one wheel hub broke. Consequently, the
team had to start from the back row on Sunday afternoon.

The Saleen seemed to be working properly on Sunday. Both Carlo van Dam (NL) and Stephane Lemeret (B), confirmed this by radio and on the
winding track with consistently fast lap times. During van Dams“ second stint, apparently caused by an exploded brake, the car break out and
crashed into the tire wall. “Except for some bruises nothing has happened to me,” said Van Dam after he was examined medically.

Former Formula 1 driver Zsolt Baumgartner (HU) visited the team to finally discuss options for a cockpit within the InterContinental Le Mans
Cup in 2011.
