Disappointing weekend for ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport

With big hopes after the bad growing weekend, the team of Münnich motor sport hopes all around team owner René Münnich at the showdown in the Eifel with the 6th run to the FIA GT1 World Championship.

Nevertheless, these should not be recompensed. In a thrilling running of the two Lamborghini Murciélagos of the Friedersdorfer racing team had to fight hard. In view of the worse starting position for the car with the number 37 which suffered yesterday in the Warmup lap a gearbox damage and from the last start place in running, went it was to be struggled especially hard in the narrow field forwards.

Marc Basseng/Thomas Jäger: „Overnight our car was prepared by the team really well, the speed was there like itself in the Warmup in the morning showed. But we are here with a world championship and there the last start place as a starting position is already a big handicap.“ Particularly Marc had to fight in the first racing rounds with several opponents at what one looked to the car, could leave behind finally some. Then Thomas was able to do after an excellent pit stop of our Bobsleigh Boy´s from Altenberg still, unfortunately, only the 19th place home driven.

Not much better it ran with the Lamborghini Murciélago with the number 38. From the 11th start place Dominik Schwager and Nicky Pastorelli could hope thanks to good car and driving class for the countable. After a hard racing start by, which in the first curve several cars touched and Dominik properly in the tongs was taken, presented itself of the ALL-INKL.COM Murciélago in a bad shape. After pit stop good again Nicky tried to get out once more everything, he simply wanted to know:

„When I noticed this still goes well the car in spite of the damages, I have properly pushed once more to reach points. Then on the starting straight I have lost with the braking suddenly my rear, landed in the gravel.“ Obviously brake problem provided for the big disappointment
for the drivers and the whole team. „In view of the next runnings it is still worthwhile hard to go on working. The basic speed is there and enough motivation for the drivers and the whole team“, complements René Münnich.
