24 Hours of Le Mans

ACO press conference LIVE on the internet!

Maison de la Radio Paris, Wednesday 9th February, 11h00: Follow the press conference live announcing the 56 cars selected for the 79th Le Mans 24 Hours and the entrants in the 2011 ILMC.

After the success of the live presentation of the 2010 field on the site www.lemans.org, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest has put a similar service in place in 2011. By logging on to the www.lemans.org site, net surfers can follow this event live reserved for journalists, which will be attended by numerous entrants’ representatives, including team principals and drivers.

In addition, thanks to this service, dyed-in-the-wool endurance enthusiasts will be able to discover live by video the well-subscribed field for the 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup.

Just a little more patience! The suspense ends tomorrow 9th February live on www.lemans.org.

It’s an Intercontinental cup. however to be honest, ihope it will be long-waited revival of sportscar world championship in reality..

  5. Yeah from the announcements so far, it looks like the ILMC for 2011 looks to be even better than both ALMS/LMS combined.

I think eventually if ALMS and LMS keep going down the hole that they should just ditch those and should just go with the ILMC. That way we don’t have disputes between ALMS and LMS, especially because ALMS has been making its own regulations recently compared to the ACO.

Sure we wont have as many races throughout the year. But having 1 undisputed series/cup is just the way to go nowadays, atleast untill the economy gets back on track and manufactors come back to the sport.

I also wish all ILMC races would be televised here in North America or atleast live streamed on internet. Its not much of a “INTERCONTINETAL” sport if we CAN’T even VIEW IT!
