  4. I hope Risi Competizione is on that list soon.

    Posted by Dion | February 9, 2011, 13:15
  5. Risi already said they were not going this year.

  6. Two entires for the Lizards this year? They might have a chance this year! :)

  7. Glad to see two Lizards.

  8. Another thing: I see Larbre with two entires, but one of them is a Porsche? Is that an error in listing or are they actually bringing two different cars?

  9. It’s not a mistake, there was a piece of news some time late last year that Larbre would be running one Corvette and one Porsche.

    Posted by Victor | February 9, 2011, 14:20
  10. ^Huh, I missed that then. Last I read was that Larbre was considering entering a second Corvette, but that could be older news.

  12. Happy to see on of my favorit driver back (Stephane Ortelli)
    plus he’s in a Ferrari!

    Forza Ferrari 2011!!

  13. Congrats to Robertson Racing for getting the invite. Too bad only the one Ford GT in the field though. No Matech built chassis either. Hopefully the Doran chassis will finish.

  14. GTE should be very interesting and I’m glad Flying Lizard finally SPLIT and are bringing two cars. #81 must be last year’s car and #80 is a 2011 chassis they’ll likely pick up in Europe, run at the test. While the car at Sebring is likely last year’s Championship winning car.

Too bad no Risi this season, but budget it seems, but no Extreme Speed either, so I guess that focus will be on winning the ALMS Manufacturer’s title. Not a bad assignment if you ask me, the hardest GT class to win in.

  15. good that pescalrolo back!!! no RISI!!!! gutted!!! no no no no no. But ALMS GT title will be returning to them this year.

  16. ^ spelt pescarolo ooops :/

    Posted by rob | February 9, 2011, 21:25
  17. @Anthony: Risi has $$$ problems??

  18. sad for Pegasus racing, hope they still make the show but doesnt look promising.

interesting to see BMS and Young Driver AMR on the outside.

2 cars for Singtech who will likely crash in the first 3 hours and Pegasus doesnt even get it? come on! thats bull!

that Labre corvette was fast in Sebring Testing today, maybe that means they’ll be fast at Le Sarthe!

  19. disappointing that pescarolo and oreca teams are only sending 1 car each, and that there is no HPD in LMP1, but other than that, LMP looks pretty good!

    Posted by SchellZ | February 10, 2011, 6:20
  20. sory, i didn’t notice the LMP2 entry for oreca, it will be interesting to see how a well funded team can go in LMP2, considering that the regulations are more similar to LMP1, considering that largish production engines are almost as fast as small racing engines.

    Posted by SchellZ | February 10, 2011, 6:23
  21. Huh, i’m not very good at noticeing things am I, and i didn’t see highcrofts LMP1 entry, so totally disregard everything i’ve said!!!

    Posted by SchellZ | February 10, 2011, 6:32
  22. Such a shame we won’t see the Drayson team back either.

    Posted by Ian | February 11, 2011, 15:28
  23. Re Marcus A Feb 9:

The Doran Ford (s) WILL be there at the finish. This is a serious effort as well as a dream come true! I appreciate your interest!

  24. Yes, the Lizards now have a chance since there will be one car without Seth Neiman behind the wheel.

    Posted by Roy | February 12, 2011, 0:04
  25. Why isn’t the Gulf Middle East Team running a Lambo?

    Posted by Michael | February 12, 2011, 4:58
  26. Does anybody know what happened to Drayson Racing? I haven’t heard anything about them for quite a while.

    Posted by Rob | February 12, 2011, 16:58
  27. I just noticed something…

Didn’t they say the 56th entry was going to be a non ACO class, so, erm, where/what is it?

    Posted by SchellZ | February 15, 2011, 7:15
  28. ^The 56th entry wasn’t awarded on account that the alternate technology rumored to participate wasn’t at the level it needed to be yet.

    Posted by Captain Spyro | February 15, 2011, 14:01
  29. @Dave Robertson

Glad to hear it! I look forward to see you guys live in Long Beach and Laguna Seca this year. Would love to see your Ford GTs on pole and podium!
