Nissan Conclude Dominant Weekend with Second Win

Audi Takes Advantage of Safety Car to Score First Win of 2011
Enzo Ide took the chequered flag in the Belgian Audi Club Audi R8 LMS to score a surprise win from 14th on the grid in Round 2 of the FIA GT3 European Championship. The Safety Car was deployed for an accident and Ide’s co-driver Greg Franchi was able to dive into the pits a lap earlier than most of the grid as the pitlane opened just as he passed the pit entrance. Team ORECA-Matmut : A long road back to the top 10
Leaders of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup after its victory in the 12 Hours of Sebring, the Team ORECA-Matmut finished tenth in the second round, the 1000km of Spa- Francorchamps. After settling into seventh place, the #10 Peugeot HDi FAP lost seven laps because of a fuel pump problem. Rejoining the action in 46th position, Nicolas Lapierre, Loïc Duval and Olivier Panis pushed to climb back up the running order. The race was won by Peugeot Sport Total, who finish in the top two places with its new Peugeot 908.[...]
